The Skagit Skating Club classes are open to all boys and girls ages 4 to 13 regardless of experience. Different ages and abilities will be grouped together. Parents may skate at no charge if they wish to help their children.
The 1/2 hour lessons will run on Saturdays at 11:00 AM.
Classes
end July 12th and start September 13thThe classes are designed to take the beginner skater through a step by step program that includes all your basic skating skills: stopping rolling, scissors, balance on foot, crossing over, safety, falling down and getting back up and the beginning of backwards skating. We also have room for the advanced skater who would require more advanced skills. The coaches will evaluate the skaters ability in the first class and make the appropriate adjustments.
The program is staffed with USA ROLLER SPORTS NATIONALLY CERTIFIED COACHES who are dedicated to provide the finest instruction available.
